Importing Images
If you click on the "Import/Export" tab for a competition you will find buttons used for importing and exporting images and image information into and out of the program.
The "Import Digital Images" button is used to copy jpeg and tiff files into the competition folder and catalog them with the title, author, and other information. A file naming scheme is important to the efficient importing of digital images.
The "Catalog Images" button is used to enter information about non-digital images. You can store competition information on slides or prints using this button. If desired, a competition can contain both digital and non-digital entries. Projected images can be blended, allowing the Image Competition Manager to display titles for non-digital works, if desired. Images may also be added to non-digital entries for creating a show.
The "Batch Import" section is used to import images and image information using a tab separated file. This file is typically created with Excel.
"Import Competition" is used to import images and image information exported from another competition.
"Export Competition" is used to export selected images and image information from the current competition..
